StackSocial has gone live with Brambles.ai. Shoppers can ask, on the product page, the same questions they would ask a person, and get the answer before they leave the site to figure it out somewhere else.

On stacksocial.com

A lot of what StackSocial sells does not fit in a one-line description. Lifetime access. Bundles. Software that is new to most people. The useful question is rarely the product name. It is which option fits, how two of them differ, and what the buyer actually receives.

Cat Martin, VP of Commerce at StackCommerce:

StackSocial sells a lot of things that take time to explain - lifetime access, bundles, unique software that's new to most people. Our customers ask really specific questions about our products, and for a long time the best we could do was write more copy and hope we covered it. Brambles.ai lets us actually answer the questions and provide the relevant information directly to the customer.

— Cat Martin, VP of Commerce, StackCommerce

What shoppers can ask

The assistant sits on the product page and answers from StackSocial’s own catalog. A shopper can ask:

  • Which one is right for me?
  • How do these two compare?
  • What do I actually get?

The answer comes back in the moment, with the product in front of them, instead of another tab and another search.

Support stays where it already is

StackCommerce’s help desk stays in place. Brambles.ai connects to it, so a question that needs a person goes into the customer service flow the team already uses, with the whole conversation attached.

Why this fit

Brambles.ai runs one system across both sides of commerce: publishers on one side, brands on the other. StackCommerce and StackSocial sit on both of those sides. The same assistant is useful to the shopper on StackSocial and to the publishers and brands whose products are in that catalog.

Thank you to Cat Martin and Marcella Mense for the work that got this live, and for the care that went into the shopper experience. This is the start.

See it on StackSocial. If you run a deal site, a brand storefront, or a publisher catalog and want the same model, talk to us.
