The same Brambles assistant that runs on your website, now in your iOS and Android apps. A thin native SDK opens it full-screen, and every product link opens in an in-app browser, so commissions still track.

Your assistant opens full-screen
Branded for your app, with streaming answers and product cards.

Back to the same conversation
Done or Back returns to the chat right where they left it.
A few lines in the framework you already use.
Native iOS and Android, React Native and Flutter all share the same hosted assistant and the same behaviour.

- Android 6.0+ (API 23) in Kotlin
- React Native and Flutter components
- Dashboard settings apply without an app release

No chat to rebuild
The SDK wraps your hosted Brambles assistant. Streaming answers, product cards, sponsored picks and contextual ads all come from Brambles, so your team ships a screen, not a chat engine.
Change it without an app release
Branding, assistant instructions, merchant filters and ad settings update from your dashboard and reach the app immediately.
Commissions that still track
Every product link opens exactly as Brambles generated it, so affiliate and CPC attribution survives the trip from app to store.
Analytics included
Chats, searches, product impressions and clicks reach your Brambles dashboard automatically. Your app team doesn't rebuild any events.
Privacy-friendly by default
The SDK doesn't need IDFA or GAID, it only accepts messages from Brambles' own origin, and contextual ads stay off until you opt in.
One SDK, both kinds of app.
It runs on your normal Brambles account, publisher or retail. In-app is simply another place your assistant appears.
Publisher apps
News, magazine and review apps get an Ask tab that answers questions about your coverage and recommends the products it mentions.
- Answers grounded in your content
- Affiliate commerce on product taps
- Sponsored placements for Enterprise
Retail apps
Store apps get a Shop assistant that knows your catalog, answers product questions and takes shoppers straight to the right item.
- Built on your product catalog
- Your brand voice and rules
- The same analytics as your website
Questions, answered
What is the Brambles in-app SDK?
A thin native SDK that puts the Brambles AI shopping assistant inside your iOS or Android app. It opens your hosted assistant full-screen in a secure in-app view and handles product links, so you don't rebuild the chat natively.
Which platforms and frameworks are supported?
Native iOS 15 and later (a Swift Package with SwiftUI and UIKit APIs), native Android 6.0 and later (API 23, Kotlin), React Native, and Flutter.
Do I need to release an app update when the assistant changes?
No. The assistant is hosted by Brambles, so branding, instructions, merchant filters and ad settings change from your dashboard without an app release. You only update the SDK through a normal app release when you choose to.
How do product links and commissions work inside an app?
When someone taps a product or ad, the SDK opens the exact tracked link Brambles generated in Safari View Controller on iOS or a Chrome Custom Tab on Android, so affiliate and CPC attribution is preserved. Done or Back returns to the same conversation.
Does the SDK need IDFA, GAID or tracking permission?
No. The SDK doesn't use IDFA or GAID. It sends the same chat and click analytics as the Brambles website experience, which you declare in your App Store and Google Play privacy answers. Contextual ads are opt-in.
Is this the same as the Adaptive Inline Unit?
No. In apps, the assistant opens full-screen, typically as a Shop or Ask tab. The Adaptive Inline Unit is built for articles on the web.
How do I get the SDK?
The in-app SDK is available now on Brambles Enterprise plans. Tell us your framework, your minimum iOS and Android versions and where the Shop or Ask entry point should live, and we provide the matching package and help you through launch.
Can I render the chat natively instead?
Yes, with the Brambles Commerce API. Your app then renders answers and product cards itself and owns streaming, click-out and analytics, which is a substantially larger integration than the SDK.
